The Big Lead, founded in 2006, is one of the longest-running sports and pop culture blogs on the Internet. Owned by Minute Media, TBL focuses on the biggest names in sports media with interviews, commentary, and breaking news on the newsbreakers. It is the home of the Roundup, a daily stop first thing in the morning for journalists looking to get a snapshot on all that's happening in the world, as well as the annual Sports Media Awards highlighting the very best from the industry. The Big Lead has two twice-weekly podcasts — The Big Stream, which focuses on TV and movie offerings, and The Big Weekend — a variety show blending on-field action with off-field commentary.
Kyle Koster is the Editor-in-Chief of The Big Lead and the host of The Big Weekend. He has previously worked for the Chicago Sun-Times, where he co-created the Sports Pros(e) blog. His written work has appeared on The Daily Dot, Uproxx, BroBible, and Animal New York. Among his television credits are a last-place finish on Sports Jeopardy, a 1990 episode of Maranda's Kids Stuff on Grand Rapids, Michigan's Fox affiliate, and ESPNU's Unite. He has appeared as a guest on Fox News and CBC Radio. While at the Sun-Times, Kyle covered both the Chicago Cubs and White Sox. Since joining The Big Lead in 2013, his primary areas of focus have been sports media, Major League Baseball, college football and golf. He is an alum of Michigan State University, where he co-founded the club baseball team and currently plays in the International Baseball League of West Michigan.
Liam McKeone is a writer, editor, and podcaster for The Big Lead, host of the Press Pass Podcast and frequent guest on The Big Stream and The Big Weekend. Previously, Liam was a digital editor and writer for NBC Sports Boston, covering the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins. A graduate of Fordham University, Liam wrote a weekly basketball blog for the Fordham Ram. Liam now covers a variety of subjects for TBL across the NFL, NBA, MLB, and sports media spheres. He is a member of the National Sports Media Association, and enjoys reading and video games in his downtime.

Stephen Douglas is an old school sports blogger that originally joined TBL in 2008 while he was working on his Masters in Communication from The College of Saint Rose. He previously wrote for Uproxx, The Sporting News' Rumble (RIP) and The Troy Record. Stephen now lives in upstate New York with his wife and three sons. When they allow him enough time he likes to watch and write about sports, television and movies.
